In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mary Njoku shared her observations on how African women often engage in petty behavior towards each other.
The actress, who expressed her concern about how rumors and hearsay have damaged many relationships among women, called out the destructive habit and urged women to avoid assuming the worst about each other.
She pointed out that small things like text messages can escalate into unnecessary conflicts and misunderstandings which often result in years of unresolved malice.
Mary Njoku encouraged women to treat each other with the same kindness and empathy they often extend to men. She believes that fostering a strong bond of sisterhood and support among African women is essential for collective growth and empowerment.
The actress wrote, “African women are so PETTY to each other. Small misunderstanding, 5 years of Malice. “I heard you said I am yellow” Are you Green?
“I texted you but you ignored” There is a chance I missed it. You think you are better than me” Sister! How do you know what I am thinking? You dey inside my head?
“She said, you said, I heard what you said” has destroyed Sisterhood.”
“Dem say Dem say if she didn’t/can’t say it to your face, rest. Let’s learn to tolerate each other the way we tolerate our men. That’s the ONLY way we can grow together,” she added.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mary Remmy Njoku recently advised men on the role of mothers in raising successful children and shaping their lives.
