KanyiDaily recalls that in 2016, the singer belittled Dele Momodu after the Ovation magazine boss aligned himself with his niece, Sophia Momodu, who also happens to be the mother of Davido’s first child, Imade Adeleke.
After criticizing Dele Momodu in Humble Smith’s song “Osinachi Remix,” Davido also dissed the then 55-year-old media mogul by referring to him as ‘his boy’ in his song “Bad, Baddo, Baddest,” featuring Falz and Olamide.
Following the child custody battle with Sophia over a Dubai family trip, Davido and Momdu eventually reconciled a year later when Davido performed at the 2017 Ovation Christmas Carol event.
In a recent video circulating on social media, Davido could be seen demonstrating his respect for Dele Momodu during a visit to his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, at his office in Osun State.
The viral video captures Davido prostrating as he greeted the Ovation Magazine chief, sparking conversations from social media users who applauded both men for their growth.
KanyiDaily recalls that Dele Momodu recently urged his niece, Sophia Momodu, to “calm down” after she called out Davido over their daughter, Imade Adeleke.
