Egypt’s Al-Ahly, Kano Pillars Rated Above Messi’s Inter Miami In World Clubs Ranking

Egypt’s Al-Ahly and Nigeria’s Kano Pillars have been rated ahead of Lionel Messi‘s new club, Inter Miami, in the new Football database ranking.

In the latest update of football club rankings released on Monday by a football ranking website, the soccer club’s ranking was updated after matches played on August 27, 2023.

The top spots were occupied by Manchester City at number one with 2086 points, Bayern Munich securing second place with 1950 points, and Real Madrid trailing as third with 1942 points.

Further down the list, Napoli, led by Victor Osimhen, claimed the fourth position with 1924 points, followed closely by Inter Milan at fifth with 1917 points.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Manchester United secured the sixth, seventh, 16th, and 17th positions, attaining point totals of 1900, 1871, 1819, and 1811, respectively.

Egypt’s Al-Ahly positioned itself as the foremost African club on the ranking, occupying the 50th spot with a score of 1703 points. Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Kano Pillars secured the 728th place with 1390 points.

On the other hand, Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the United States stood at the 1538th position, garnering a total of 1294 points.

KanyiDaily recalls that Lionel Messi moved to Inter Miami in July this year, after parting ways with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, following a two-year stint with the French club.

Since his arrival, the 36-year-old football icon has delivered impressive performances, recording 10 goals and three assists across eight appearances.
