The actor, who moved to Abuja following his separation from his first wife, May Edochie, recently acquired a new residence in the city.
In recent days, news circulated regarding an incident involving Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, wherein they encountered an awkward situation at a store in Abuja.
A popular blogger, Cutie Juls, reported that the couple relocated their domicile from Enugu to Abuja, with Yul gearing up to become more involved in politics.
Following their relocation, the couple planned to furnish their new home, but their efforts to acquire specific items were thwarted due to insufficient funds in Yul’s account.
According to the blogger, the actor encountered a declined transaction when trying to pay for a selection of household appliances valued at N10 million.
Judy Austin reportedly suggested securing the items with the intention to pay later, but the shop owner declined their proposal, chased them out of the shop, and asked them to return when they had enough cash.
A few days after the incident, Yul Edochie took to his Instagram page and shared a video portraying a heartwarming scenario where he was embraced by his fans while inside a bank.
In the video, the actor could be seen seated at a desk while his admirers flocked around him to capture snapshots and record videos. They hailed him as “Odogwu 1” and “Ijele,” expressing their deep admiration.
Sharing the video, Yul Edochie shared his experience in Abuja, streaming that his arrival in the city had been marked by an exceptional reception from his fans.
He wrote, “Abuja go sweet ooo. Since I got in, the welcome from my fans has been amazing. This one na inside bank. My fans are the best. They know the King of Warriors is here. Asiwaju Boy. Ezedike 1″.
