KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad died at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances on September 12, and was buried the following day in Lagos.
Following Mohbad’s death, there have been speculations that the singer is not the biological father of his five-month-old son, Liam, prompting calls for a DNA test to confirm paternity.
In a video shared on social media, Uche Maduagwu revealed that he was approached by a group of people on September 15 who offered him N3 million to claim that Mohbad’s wife played a role in the singer’s demise and to promote a narrative of her undergoing a DNA test.
The actor claimed he swiftly declined the N3m offer, emphasizing that he had no personal connection to the late Mohbad or his family to justify such allegations against the wife.
He expressed certainty that the same individuals who approached him have targeted other online personalities to spread the unfounded narrative of Mohbad’s wife being a prime suspect and advocating for a DNA test.
KanyiDaily recalls that investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo recently advocated for the paternity test while accusing Mohbad’s wife of deceit. She threatened to make the DNA test public if Wunmi fail to disclose the true identity of her child’s father.
