Rema faced harsh criticism and anger after sharing the final message he received from the late musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba nicknamed MohBad.
He also bemoaned the fact that he ignored Mohbad’s DM to him in 2020, in which the deceased expressed admiration for his song “Peace of Mind.”
Rema said he only noticed the message after the artist died, a claim that has sparked outrage among internet users.

“No one deserves to go like this I’m hurt I never saw your DM You wrote ‘Peace of mind’ was your favorite song Now it’s too late to write you back. God’s Angels be with you, Rest well King,” Rema wrote.
Reacting to Rema’s ‘regret-filled’ post, Ekanem knocked him for turning a blind eye to Mohbad’s DM but not America singer, Selena Gomez’s who featured on his multiple record-breaking and award-winning hit track, “Calm Down”.
The film star said: “No be only I never saw your DM….but you saw Selena’s DM. You try!”
