The complete winners list of BET Hip Hop Awards 2023

The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards aired on Tuesday, October 10, from Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, with rapper Kendrick Lamar emerging as the night’s top winner.

The rapper, who won four awards, swept every category in which he was nominated, including hip hop artist of the year, lyricist of the year, best live performer, and video director of the year, with his colleague Dave Free.

Fat Joe, a rapper, actor, and executive producer, hosted the show, which aired on Tuesday, October 10, and saw veteran emcee Kendrick Lamar take home four awards.

With two victories each, Lil Uzi Vert and Metro Boomin tied, as did Lil Durk and J. Cole for their collaboration on “All My Life.” Ice Spice was named this year’s “Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist,” while Blak Sherif represented Ghana by collecting the “Best International Flow” award.

GloRilla, Sexyy Red, T.I., Jezzy, and other musicians delivered electrifying performances throughout the evening.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, both superstar producers and “Verzuz” creators, earned the “Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award” for their cultural contributions to the genre. Later, the duo gave hip-hop pioneer Marley Marl the “I Am Hip Hop Award.”
