Why it’s difficult for artistes to make conscious music – Music executive, Dayo Adeneye

Dayo Adeneye, aka D1, a veteran music executive, has stated that the amount of moral depravity in this generation has made it harder for artists to create conscious music.

D1 stated in the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast that conscious music would be commercially unsuccessful in today’s reality.

“Right now, the world is not ready to listen to anything conscious,” he remarked. Do you want to preach mindful lyrics to a generation that doesn’t know what gender they are?

He also stated that many ladies his age are materialistic.

D1 stated that most women nowadays simply bring their bodies to the table when it comes to relationships, which causes males to find no worth in them other than s*x.
