Daniel Regha Reveals Why Asake Is Bigger Than Rema

Social media critic, Daniel Regha has expressed his opinion that Nigerian artist, Asake is bigger than his colleague, Rema.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Daniel Regha attributed Rema’s greater visibility to the influential role played by Don Jazzy and Mavin Records in promoting him.

According to him, Asake surpasses Rema in lyrical content, noting that former’s songs tend to have more depth and meaning.

He, however, acknowledged that both artists are still considered up-and-comers in the industry.

Daniel wrote, “Asake is a bigger artiste than Rema, but Rema gets better PR thanks to Don Jazzy’s influence & that of Mavin Records.

“Lyrically speaking Asake has more meaningful songs; Rema 99% of the time recycles lyrics. The only thing they have in common is that both are still upcomers, that’s all. No shades.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Daniel Regha said that the Big Brother Naija reality show is producing celebrities with questionable moral values.
