‘Day I told my husband I don’t want to outshine him’ – Toyosi

Toyosi Etim-Effiong, a media personality and film producer, described her husband’s reaction when she opened up to him, saying she doesn’t want to “outshine” him.

She expressed concern that, despite her enormous potential, she might outshine her actor husband, but he encouraged her when she finally summoned the courage to open up to him about her concerns.

Her husband’s response “felt like an impartation,” she said, emphasising that he urged her to feel free to do exploits.

Mrs. Etim-Effiong made the announcement in a lengthy Instagram post commemorating their wedding anniversary.

The content producer stated that “the burden was lifted” after her husband’s approval.

“I felt emboldened and encouraged. I had the full support of the most important person in my life and it was liberating! I began to make preparations to take flight. A little while later, I did. I took flight and I’m still ascending,” she wrote
