Former beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu has expressed her gratitude to God as she commemorates a two-year milestone of overcoming a harrowing bout of food poisoning.

Precious Chikwendu, the ex-wife of former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode, took to her Instagram page to recount an incident from two years ago when she found herself hospitalized due to the effects of food poisoning.

Reflecting on that trying period, she opens up about her contemplations during her time in the hospital bed. Amid uncertainty about her survival, her foremost concern was for her children’s welfare.

The mother of four said that she pondered whether she would survive and have the opportunity to be reunited with her children and present them with the gifts she had thoughtfully purchased.

With the passage of two years since the challenging episode, Precious shares a video of herself on the same hospital bed, offering her testimony to her followers.

She wrote, “Exactly 2 years today I survived food poisoning. All I could think of on that bed was sending my boys the last things I bought them Incase. Again! Mercy said no”.
