Former Brazil Striker, Hulk Announces He Is Expecting Second Child With His Ex-Wife’s Niece

Former Brazilian striker, Hulk has announced that he is anticipating the arrival of his second child with his ex-wife’s niece, Camila Angelo.

This revelation comes two years after the footballer, whose full name is Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, caused a stir by marrying Camila Angelo, the niece of his ex-wife Iran Angelo, following the end of their 12-year relationship.

In 2020, Hulk and Camila confirmed the expectation of their first child, Zaya. Now, at 37, Hulk has taken to social media to announce their second pregnancy and shed light on the reason for keeping it a secret until now.

In a video shared on his Instagram story, the footballer expressed gratitude for the messages received about his wife’s pregnancy and disclosed, “Another son, another blessing that God gave me.”

Hulk explained that he had chosen to reveal the news when he picked up his children to spend the holidays with him on the 16th, ensuring a personal and timely disclosure to his family.

He said: ‘Dropping by to thank you for the countless messages I have been receiving about my wife’s pregnancy. Another son, another blessing that God gave me.

‘My children didn’t know until now and I had agreed with my wife to tell them when I picked them up to spend the holidays with me, only on the 16th.

‘I told them the news, they were very happy. I knew they would tell other people and those people would pass it on to someone. I knew it was going to leak.’

Hulk’s relationship with Camila Angelo became public in December 2019, just five months after his marriage to Iran Angelo ended in July of the same year.

The couple tied the knot in September 2020 while Hulk was playing for the Chinese side Shangai SIPG.

The footballer, who shares three children with his ex-wife, Ian, Thiago, and Alice, informed his family about his relationship with Camila in December 2019, including her parents and brother.

A spokesperson for Hulk stated during the revelation of their relationship, “Hulk called the parents and the brother of Camila and told them the truth.

“It was Hulk himself who made the information public because he had nothing to hide. His position is transparency, and he wants to avoid lies and malicious comments.”
