Victor AD Faults BBC Documentary, Recounts How TB Joshua Healed Him And His Mother

Nigerian singer, Victor Adere, popularly known as Victor AD, has thrown his weight behind the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as Prophet TB Joshua.

This comes following the three-part BBC documentary where former SCOAN members labeled the church as a cult and accused TB Joshua of various offenses, including rape, forced abortions, child abuse, and torture.

Victor AD, in a tweet on his X handle on Wednesday, refuted the claims, stating that his family has been attending SCOAN since he was six years old.

The singer recounted personal experiences, mentioning that TB Joshua played a pivotal role in healing him from a skin disease at the age of six.

According to him, the cleric also restored his mother’s hand, which was supposed to be amputated due to a gunshot wound, and healed his sister from blindness during her primary school days.

Questioning the authenticity of the allegations, he highlighted TB Joshua’s positive impact on his family, providing shelter and food when they were homeless.

He wrote, “Prophet TB Joshua fake ke? Person wey God use heal me from skin disease at the age of 6, restored my mums hand that was supposed to be amputated due to gunshot wound, or is it my sister that got healed from blindness during her primary school days.”

“So many wonderful deeds!! Which of these are fake or staged? When my family and I were homeless he gave us shelter and fed us. God is not a man.”

In response to criticisms, Victor AD remained steadfast, stating, “Say whatever you like. E no go change God from being God.”

Additionally, an old video from 2021 resurfaced, showing Victor D discussing an “anointed water” that he claimed healed his mother.

In the video, Victor AD, on a video call with his mother, sprayed the anointed water at the camera, and she attested to regaining movement in her affected hand instantaneously.

KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem had slammed the British Broadcasting Corporation (BCC) for its recent documentary on Prophet TB Joshua.
