Big Brother Naija reality star, Phyna has advised women to reconsider relationships that do not progress towards marriage within three years.

In the recent episode of her podcast, ‘Spill With Phyna,’ she candidly shared her own experience of being misled by her ex-boyfriend for a staggering 12 years with false promises of marriage.

The BBNaija star highlighted a common trend where men string along their partners with empty romantic gestures and unfulfilled commitments, all while lacking genuine intentions of settling down.

She shed light on the prevalence of this issue, particularly in Edo State, where couples can remain in stagnant relationships for extended periods without any prospect of marriage.

Phyna said, “If you date a guy, at most 3 years and he is still not considering marrying you, walk out of the relationship.

“This issues of men wasting women’s time in relationships without the intention of marrying them is predominant in Edo State.

“In Edo State you will see people that have been together for 10 years with no plan of marriage. I did 12 years. The men have no plan of marrying you but they will be feigning romantic gestures to deceive you.”
