Nigeria’s Richest Woman, Folorunsho Alakija And Husband Reportedly End 30 Years Marriage

Nigeria’s richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija and her husband Modupe Alakija have reportedly ended their 30 years old marriage.

According to The Will, the high-profile union of the billionaire businesswoman encountered significant challenges leading to her split with Module.

It was gathered that the couple no longer live together in their lavish matrimonial residence in Ikoyi, Lagos, despite being parents to four children.

Sources reveal that the couple has been grappling with frequent conflicts, prompting Folorunsho to request privacy within her residence, while her estranged husband sought alternative accommodation nearby.

Although the Alakijas have presented a united front in public, insiders familiar with the situation disclose that their relationship has been strained for several years.

The couple, who has reportedly maintained this facade primarily due to their prominent public status, are yet to comment on their alleged split.

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2012, Folorunsho Alakija became the richest black woman in the word, displacing American media mogul, Oprah Winfrey.
