Yemi Alade Denies Being Sexually Harassed By Men In Nigerian Music Industry

Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade has denied being sexual harassment by men in the music industry.

An interview featuring Yemi Alade gained traction across various platforms, wherein she discussed the challenges she encounters in winning awards within the music industry.

The singer reportedly revealed that the reason she hardly wins an award in Nigeria is because men wanted to sleep with her.

She further stated that her refusal to engage in such activities may have impacted her award recognition in the music industry.

However, Yemi Alade has taken to her Instagram story to debunk these reports, questioning the authenticity of such claims and expressing disbelief at the false narratives by bloggers.

The singer labeled these reports as the epitome of stupidity and criticized the lack of intelligence behind such fabrication.

She emphasized her speechlessness upon reading the interview, highlighting the distress caused by baseless rumors circulated by gossipmongers.

In a direct address to those responsible for spreading false information, she urged them to seek meaningful employment rather than indulging in irresponsible journalism.

“When I read the interview that Yemi Alade recently did, I was like “Wow, Yemi Alade don suffer”. Mtchewwwwww get a job stupid rumor mongers of false news.

“Unintelligent excuse for a bug with phone!! Aka dumb blogger,” Yemi Alade wrote.
