I’m a recent interview, Carter Efe criticized the trend of filming acts of generosity and contrasted it with his personal experience, revealing how rapper Zlatan Ibile had quietly supported him before achieving stardom.
The content creator disclosed that Zlatan had provided him with financial assistance and clothing during his challenging times.
He emphasized that Zlatan’s acts of kindness went unpublicized as he did not record videos to announce them.
Efe also shared another instance involving celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut, who generously gave him N1 million.
According to Efe, Ednut cautioned him against broadcasting the donation on social media or disclosing it to others.
Carter Efe highlighted the valuable lessons he learned, emphasizing that, unlike some content creators, he refrains from publicizing his charitable deeds.
He said; “These content creators who make videos of people they’re helping are just making money off the sufferings of these helpless people. They’re not genuine.
“When I was nothing, Zlatan used to give me clothes and money. In fact, he gave me everything. He didn’t do a video so the world could see what he was doing.
“Tunde Ednut once gave me 1 million naira and warned me not to tell anybody. These things taught me a lot. This is why when I help anybody, I don’t make noise or say anything about it.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Carter Efe recently disclosed that he used to be a tailor before venturing into skit making and becoming famous.
