Dammy Krane recently called out Davido, accusing him of using his wealth to conceal his wrongdoing, particularly regarding the tragic death of Tagbo, a member of Davido’s 30 Billion Gang, in 2017.
Dammy Krane alleged that Davido made Tagbo consume excessive alcohol, ultimately leaving him unattended in a car until his death.
In the video, Dammy Krane was seen playing their song “Number 1” featuring Portable in the background while criticizing Davido.
Reacting to this, Portable warned Dammy Krane against using their joint song as a backdrop for his Davido-related content.
Portable clarified that he has no personal issues with Davido and considers him a benefactor who has supported him.
He emphasized that if Dammy Krane has grievances with Davido, he should address them directly rather than involving their collaborative work.
Portable accused Dammy Krane of living in a one-room apartment in Lekki and failing to compensate him for their collaboration.
He claimed to have introduced the producer for the song and criticized Dammy Krane’s financial status, stating that he could only afford to offer him and his companions bottled water during a visit.
The singer expressed his frustration with Dammy Krane’s behavior, urging him not to drag him into conflicts with Davido and cautioning against using their song to provoke Davido or his fans.
Portable said: “Hello, ladies and gentlemen Please, there are some videos I’ve been seeing online where one Danny Krane insults Davido.”
“It doesn’t concern me if you and Davido are fighting, but why is it that every time you want to insult Davido, you play the song we did together?”
“Did we sing the song to insult Davido? Davido is my helper, he will still help me. Do you want to cause a fight? If you fight with Davido, that’s different.”
“You came for a feature, did you pay me? You did not pay me. When I asked you, you said you have not received money from Davido yet, and until Davido pays you, you won’t pay me.”
“You know I’m not well, if I bring my boys, don’t you live in a single room in Lekki? Wasn’t it bottled water you gave us? You gave us food?”
“Am I not the one who brought the producer? I told you to follow the boys I signed, you said you don’t follow people. You don’t follow people on Instagram, how will your benefactor follow you?”
“Now you dey fight your helper. Una go dey with people, before you know una go fight and start ranting, must you rant? Your guy dey make am, why can’t you make it?
“Come! Don’t use me! Don’t cause problems between me and Davido. Why you go dey use song wey me and you do dey insult Davido?
“You were playing the song underneath, you want to gain my fans? Make my fans go dey fight Davido? If you people are fighting that’s different o, me and Davido no fight!,” he stated.
The video sparked considerable discussion among viewers, with many expressing their opinions in the comments section.
