“People Say I’m Better Than Wizkid” – Speed Darlington

Controversial Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has issued a stern warning to fans who continue to compare him to Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid.

During an Instagram live session with fans, Speed Darlington vented his frustration, questioning the relevance of comparing him to Wizkid.

He expressed frustration over fans claiming he is superior to the Starboy boss, stating that such comparisons irritates him.

The rapper highlighted his nearly eight-year tenure in the music industry and emphasized that he and Wizkid have never crossed paths, despite the singer once acknowledging him in New York.

Why are people telling me that I am better than Wizkid? How do I and Wizkid correlate? Do you know how many years I’ve been in this industry? Seven years.

“Next year, May 17 or 16, I will be 8 years in the industry and I’ve never met Wizkid. Although he has previously acknowledged me in New York. He posted one of my songs. Please, stop the comparison,” Speed Darlington exclaimed.

KanyiDaily recalls that Speed Darlington recently revealed why he would not collaborate with Afrobeats heavyweights such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
