Queen Wokoma Slams Those Criticizing Her Outfit At Junior Pope’s Burial [Photos]

Nollywood actress Queen Wokoma has responded to criticism over her outfit at her late colleague Junior Pope’s burial.

KanyiDaily had reported that Junior Pope, who died in a boat accident last month, was buried in his hometown in Enugu State on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Many of his colleagues, including Queen Wokoma, attended the burial to pay their last respects.

Queen Wokoma shared photos on Instagram from the funeral, where she wore a short black dress, leggings, and a jacket.

She wrote, “Here to pay our last respects to our Friend and Colleague. RIP Jnr Pope. Life happened! Legacies and memories are what are left behind. Forever in our hearts.”

However, her outfit received backlash from netizens who criticized her choice of attire for the funeral.

In response, Queen posted a screenshot of her outfit inspiration and called out her critics for their foolishness.

She pointed out that many of them act like fashion experts but have never traveled outside their local area.

Mockingly, the actress stated that she should have worn a wrapper or looked miserable to satisfy them.

Some of you are obviously STUPID; hence wisdom is far from you. Forming fashion guru yet you’ve never traveled outside your local government.

“Oh, I forgot, I am supposed to tie a wrapper or look miserable to soothe your empty brains,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Nigerian billionaire Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-money recently responded to allegations of having a romantic affair with Junior Pope’s wife.
