Sophia Momodu Tackles Israel DMW For Claiming Davido Sponsored Imade’s Travels

Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of Afrobeats superstar Davido, has tackled his logistics manager, Israel DMW.

This happened after Davido’s first child, Imade Adeleke, mentioned in a recent interview for Children’s Day on May 27 that she has traveled to many countries.

Israel DMW responded to this news by bragging that Imade’s travel and lifestyle were funded by Davido, using the term ‘Oga Money.’

His comment went viral on social media, which prompted Sophia Momodu to share her side of the story.

In a series of tweets, Sophia claimed that Israel was lying about her daughter’s welfare and reminded people that social media doesn’t reflect reality.

Sophia revealed that she has been solely responsible for raising her daughter. She suggested that her relationship with Davido is strained and hinted that he was financially exploiting her.

She explained that she takes her daughter on all her international trips and covers all the expenses herself.

The mother of one implied that Davido and his team owe her a lot for raising their child in luxury by herself.

Sophia further expressed her anger at Israel for ruining a day meant for children with his unnecessary lies.

She wrote, “I told Isreal the 1st time he lied on social media that I didn’t find it funny & he apologized. Why he’s lying on his oga again on my child’s post is beyond me #SocialMedialsNotRealLife

“What does me taking my child on a tour of the south of France have to do with your oga’s money? Y’all owe me so much money but have the audacity to be capping on social media. Is Isreal ok??

“Like.. I’m busy! I’ve always been very clear on understanding my purpose as a parent. It’s either you’re helping or you’re a distraction.

“Jst capping anyhow on Children’s day for that matter. Isreal no Dey fear God? What’s all this??? I don’t bother anyone, I stay out the way & mind my business. Na wa oh.

“They lie & lie & lie.. then when I say something they start tearing their clothes & foaming the in mouth talmbout some “you don’t need all this” “don’t explain” “don’t say anything” delusional lot.

“This is what happens when you openly disrespect someone’s boundaries. You’re too close to home to be telling such lies openly without considering the repercussions.

“As a single parent, openly telling such a lie even if it was “jst a joke” actually has its repercussions. I work really hard to take care of my child & provide her needs. It’s unfair to give people the impression that I’m being funded by some oga.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Sophia Momodu recently served Davido with a cease and desist letter, accusing him of cyberbullying and harassment.
