Basketmouth Praises Davido And Chioma’s Wedding, Throws Shade At Wizkid

Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has mocked Afrobeats star, Wizkid over his comments about the wedding of his colleague Davido and Chioma Rowland.

KanyiDaily recalls Wizkid had posted “lol” and made a cryptic comment about understanding women after Davido shared pre-wedding photos.

Taking to his Instagram story, Basketmouth highlighted how Davido’s wedding has dominated social media.

The comedian joked that trying to use the #CHIVIDO2024 hashtag to promote anything else, like Wizkid attempted, wouldn’t work because “nobody cared.”

Basketmouth taunted Wizkid that nobody was talking about him now as Davido and Chioma are the centre of attraction.

He wrote, “Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space. Except you want us to start using Chivido2024 to promote the show. Which I don’t think will work. Because, even Wizkid wey throw shade, nobody send am.”
