Burna Boy Throws Jab At Davido Over Imade’s Custody Battle With Sophia Momodu

Nigerian artist, Burna Boy has mocked has colleague Davido, saying he isn’t a good example of starting a family

Burna Boy made this comment in response to a fan urging him to get married soon like Davido.

Before Davido’s traditional wedding to Chioma Rowland, the singer is involved in a dispute with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, over the custody of their daughter, Imade.

On Friday night, Davido criticized Sophia for mentioning the death of his son, Ifeanyi, in her counter suit.

After his outburst, a user on X urged Burna Boy to follow Davido’s example by getting married and starting a family, pointing out that he’s over 33 and not getting any younger.

@BadLieutenant wrote, “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”

Burna Boy dismissed this suggestion, arguing that Davido isn’t a good example of someone who has successfully started a family.

He replied, “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?”

Another user @RealDreylo then wrote, “You can’t even answer a question like a reasonable person. LOL. Just big head and plenty beards”

Burna Boy responded, “Ok. But between me and you, Shey na betta example the guy use?”

When another fan asked if Adekunle Gold would be a better role model, Burna Boy agreed, saying the singer is the kind of example they should pray for.

The X user, @SunOfOba asked Burna Boy, “Adekunle Gold na better example?” to which he replied, “Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros.”
