“I’m Not In Rush To Be On Rema, Asake’s Level” – Victony

Afrobeats singer, Victony addressed social media comments about his debut album “Stubborn” and its perceived lack of commercial success.

Some users suggested the album didn’t get enough attention because there weren’t any negative comments from “haters.”

Reacting on his X page, Victony called this assumption “dumb” and said people have unrealistic expectations for his album based on his current status in the industry.

He added that he isn’t in a hurry to reach the level of his colleagues, Rema and Asake.

The singer said, “Lmao, Victony need more haters gotta be the dumbest shit I seen cos what’s the rush? Everyone wanna be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?”

KanyiDaily recalls that Victony recently revealed that he wanted to become a rapper because he felt that singing was for weak people.
