Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid has shared his current favorite Nigerian artists on his social media platform.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, Wizkid named Rema, Asake, Odumodublvck, Bloody Civilian, and Shallipopi as artists he finds entertaining and musically impressive.

Wizkid specifically stated that he is obsessed with Shallipopi’s songs. He mentioned Asake and Rema who recently sold out the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

Asake’s sophomore album, ‘Work Of Art,’ including the single ‘Amapiano’ featuring Olamide, earned a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance.
