“My Twin Brother Arrested Me With EFCC” – Paul Okoye Speaks On His Feud With Peter [Video]

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, from the famous music group Psquare, has shared details about his feud with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

In an interview with City FM, Rudeboy revealed that in December 2023, Peter had him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Rudeboy explained that the arrest happened because Peter disapproved of his lifestyle.

The singer said he was threatened with a 20-year prison sentence and left confused, wondering what he had done wrong.

The investigation started due to Peter’s petition, leading to Rudeboy’s detention and the printing of his account statements.

Fortunately, Rudeboy said he was not involved in any fraudulent activities, which he felt would have been disastrous for him.

About a month ago, a family meeting was held, and EFCC officials cleared Rudeboy of all allegations. Despite this, Peter did not apologize for his actions.

Rudeboy said he believes the allegations stem from their different lifestyles because he is a businessman who saves money, while Peter spends lavishly.

The singer said the EFCC investigation revealed that Peter had used Rudeboy’s funds for personal purchases dating back to 2006/2007.
