Davido Slams INEC, Reveals Why He’s Interested In Edo Governorship Election

Nigerian superstar, Davido has criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their handling of the ongoing Edo governorship election.

In a post shared on his X page, Davido explained that his interest in the election is because his mother is from Edo State.

The singer emphasized that all Nigerians should care about the election’s integrity.

He criticized the INEC for their poor performance, recalling how he had to speak out repeatedly to prompt improvements in Osun State governorship election.

Davido wrote, “My mom is from Edo for those wondering why I’m interested in the election … but we as Nigerians should be concerned sha ..

@inecnigeria shame on you I know how many times I had to come in here and rant before they got it right in Osun ! It’s really bad. God help us”

KanyiDaily recalls that Davido also spoke out against the advice for voters to leave immediately after casting their votes in the ongoing Edo State governorship election.
