In a video shared online, Asake could be seen surrounded by a crowd when Adeoti, who is a big fan of the artist, managed to get close and attempted to take a selfie with him.
However, things took a bad turn when Asake grabbed the phone and threw it to the ground, leaving it scratched and with broken edges.
Frustrated by the situation, Adeoti expressed his anger on social media stating that while Asake may have been upset at the nightclub, it wasn’t an excuse to treat a fan so poorly.
He wrote: “@asakemusic, you brought my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s not because they pissed you off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway I still love you.”
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with many people criticizing Asake for his actions.
KanyiDaily recalls that Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid recently sent N10 million to his disc jockey, DJ Tunez, to play Asake’s hit song “Fuji Vibe” during his sold-out concert in London.
