Independence Day: There Is Nothing Worth Celebrate In Nigeria – Phyna Laments

Big Brother Naija star, Phyna has shared her thoughts on Nigeria’s Independence Day, expressing deep disappointment over the nation’s current state.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the BBNaija winner voiced her frustration with the lack of progress, despite Nigeria turning 64.

She argued that there’s nothing worth celebrating, pointing out ongoing issues like hunger, poor infrastructure, flooding, and the lack of quality education and roads.

Phyna criticized the animosity between the government and its citizens, accusing leaders of ignoring the people’s concerns.

The reality star emphasized that while Nigeria has grown older, it continues to struggle with the same basic problems, and life hasn’t improved for many.

Drawing a comparison, she likened the country to an elderly person who has not gained wisdom over the years, highlighting the stagnation in development.

Phyna admitted that instead of feeling pride, she feels embarrassed on this Independence Day.

He wrote, “I feel there is nothing worth celebrating
There is hunger…… na who chop Dey celebrate……

“We are 64years old in hardship, hunger, floods, no quality school and roads, no listening to the citizens by the Government.

“We are 64 and sinking, We are 64 and homeless, We are 64 and nothing Dey sup

“Like the saying even an old person can still be unwise. It’s shameful. I rather cover my face than smile today!!!!!

“Nothing to celebrate in the country📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Phyna recently revealed that on average, she makes at least N5 million a month from acting alone.
