Wofai Fada Marries Taiwo Cole In Civil Wedding Despite His Family Disapproval [Photos]

Nigerian Comedienne and actress Wofai Fada has shared photos from her civil wedding to Taiwo Cole despite his family’s disapproval.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, October 27, 2024, Wofa Fada shared photos showing herself in a short white gown, holding a bouquet, next to Taiwo Cole, who was dressed in a blue suit.

She captioned the photo, “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favourite. #Twoforever #MrsCole. 2 of 3, and forever to go.”

Her second post featured a video from the Ikoyi marriage registry, capturing several intimate moments between the couple.

Wofai thanked everyone for their support, saying, “Thank you guys for all the love and congratulatory messages.

“As you continue to share in our joy and happiness, may you always be congratulated. My online family, y’all are the best.”

This civil wedding came after their traditional ceremony in May in Wofa’s hometown, Ugep, Cross River State.

Wofai Fada had faced backlash from her in-laws, who publicly opposed their marriage.

Taiwo Cole’s family even released a statement claiming they were unaware of the union.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Cole’s father objected to the marriage due to the age difference between the couple.

KanyiDaily recalls that Wofai Fada, whose real name is Wofai Egu Ewa, announced her engagement on social media in May.
