This incident unfolded after Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, shared photos from the airport, showing him and Bobrisky together before the flight.
Isaac Fayose posted the photos on Instagram on Thursday evening, captioning them, “See who’s on the same flight with me to London @bobrisky222.”
However, things took a dramatic turn when officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly arrived at the Lagos airport to apprehend Bobrisky.
Contrary to reports that he was travelling to London, it was gathered that Bobrisky was actually taken off an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight late Thursday night as he tried to leave Nigeria.
Bobrisky accused the EFCC of orchestrating his detention, sharing in his post, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
KanyiDaily recalls that last week, Bobrisky was detained by Nigeria Immigration Service officers at the Seme border, allegedly during an attempt to leave Nigeria to Benin Republic.
