Hellen Ati shared part of a legal document filed on September 13, 2024, listing Paschal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, as the alleged father.
Alongside the document, she provided a phone number and address in Owerri, which she believes are his contact details.
Hellen also posted a questionnaire showing her answering questions about her alleged relationship with Cubana, accusing him of making no effort to verify his connection to the child.
She urged him to take responsibility and clear any doubts by undergoing a DNA test, promising to accept the legal consequences if the results prove he is not the father.
Hellen Ati further emphasized that her request is not about seeking money but about uncovering the truth for her son’s future.
She wrote, “To you chief priest, I’m writing this post to urge you to take a paternity test. All I ask for is a DNA test to confirm our son’s paternity. If the test confirms that you are his father, then I ask that you step up and take care of him. If not, I’m willing to face the legal consequences.
“But the most important thing is that my son deserves to know his father. He deserves love, support, and the truth. Please consider taking this test for the sake of this innocent child.
“I have been subjected to ridicule and humiliation from the public based on unfounded assumptions. But I won’t sit idly by while my son and I suffer. The truth will prevail, and I am willing to undergo a DNA test to prove it.
“For the sake of our son and for the sake of clearing my name, I implore you to do the same. Let us put an end to the rumors and the pain they’ve caused.
“I have endured more than my share of challenges since our brief relationship, but I’ve persisted with determination and perseverance.
“I’m not here asking for monetary compensation, but simply for the truth that will allow my son and me to move forward.
“Please take responsibility and take the DNA test. If you are indeed the father, then you owe it to your child to provide for him. If not, then at least you’ll have the peace of mind that comes with knowing the truth.”
This appeal follows Cubana Chief Priest’s public denial, where he claimed he never met Hellen Ati or had any relationship with her.
