Speed Darlington’s Lawyer, Stan Alieke Withdraws From His Case Against Burna Boy

Stan Alieke, the lawyer for Nigerian singer Speed Darlington, has stepped down from representing him following the artist’s second release from prison.

This decision comes amidst an ongoing defamation lawsuit between Speed Darlington and fellow musician Burna Boy.

Speed Darlington had previously spent two months in detention due to issues connected to the case with Burna Boy.

In a statement shared via Instagram, Stan Alieke, who leads the Law Capitol legal firm, announced that he and his team would no longer represent Speed Darlington.

He wrote: “I & my law firm (Law Capitol) has officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/ Akpi & henceforth ceases to act as his legal attorneys.”
