This follows 2face’s admission that he personally posted their controversial divorce announcement, despite initially claiming his Instagram account had been hacked.
Taking to her Instagram story, Makinwa expressed her anger, calling 2face’s actions unacceptable, warning him that Annie was not alone and that her supporters would stand by her.
She wrote: “This is wrong on all levels and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on if you think she is alone, let me tell you here that you will have to fight all of us”.
In another post, Toke Makinwa stressed the importance of women supporting one another.
The media personality argued that failing to stand up for women in such situations could leave them vulnerable to similar mistreatment.
She wrote, “I’m not one for too much talk but what is wrong is wrong and as a woman if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it will touch your daughter or any female in your family.
“No one is innocent and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we would fight for her”.
Toke’s strong stance has sparked mixed reactions online. While many praised her for standing up for Annie Idibia, others questioned the full story behind the drama.
KanyiDaily recalls that Annie Idibia recently revealed why she chose not to celebrate her husband, 2face Idibia, on his birthday.
