Speaking in an interview with Seun Oloketuyi on YouTube, Jude Chukwuka explained that the attackers wrongly believed he was Naira Marley’s father and accused him of being responsible for the late singer’s passing.
He recounted how the group was convinced that Naira Marley—whom they mistook as his son—was behind Mohbad’s death, and they saw this as an opportunity to hold him accountable.
“ I understood from the beginning that blaming Naira Marley of Mohbad’s death was an attack on his personality,” Chukwuka said.
He added, “Because it was finally their chance, some people wanted to take advantage of the situation to become famous. Claiming that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s death, a group of men attacked me on a film set.
“I am not the father of Naira Marley,” I informed them. I let him know that my home is Delta State and he’s from Abeokuta”
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2020, Naira Marley announced a N1 million gift for Jude Chukwuka after he was seen in a video singing his song.
