On Valentine’s Day, Destiny made headlines by treating herself to a high-end Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
She shared a video on Instagram, capturing the moment her new luxury SUV was delivered to her home.
Despite being on crutches, the actress was visibly excited as she admired her latest purchase.
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan said he wasn’t convinced that Destiny Etiko bought the SUV valued at N350 million.
The social commentator accused some Nollywood stars of exaggerating their wealth by misleading the public about their expensive cars.
He claimed that many celebrities purchase older models, refurbish them, and then present them as brand-new vehicles.
According to VDM, if celebrities want to flaunt their cars online, they should also reveal the manufacturing year to maintain transparency.
He alleged that he knew of two Nollywood actresses who had repeatedly showcased their “new” Range Rovers, when in reality, they were simply repainting the same vehicles.
“If you buy car and you want to show it off online, Make una dey post the manufacturing date of the car.I know two girls for Nollywood, dey don change Range Rover many times, but na colour dem dey change,” he said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Destiny Etiko recently revealed why she wants to reincarnate as a white woman in her next life.
