His statement comes shortly after a magistrate court in Yaba dismissed charges against Naira Marley, Sammy Larry, and Prime Boy, who had been accused of involvement in Mohbad’s death on September 24, 2023.
Despite multiple court hearings and ongoing police investigations, the exact cause of Mohbad’s death remains unclear, and his body has yet to be laid to rest.
Following the court ruling, Joseph Aloba addressed the situation during a TikTok live session, revealing that Mohbad had previously informed him about acquiring two plots of land in Elepe for his son, Liam.
Expressing his confusion over the decision, Aloba questioned why his son chose to register the property in Liam’s name when he himself had never done anything similar for Mohbad.
“When he came back from tour, Mohbad told me he had bought two plots of land at Elepe in Liam’s name and I don’t know why. As a father, I never bought anything and put Mohbad’s name on it in my life, so why will he buy something in Liam’s name but they bought that two plots of land in Liam’s name,” he stated.
KanyiDaily recalls that Joseph Aloba recently accused Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and her family of hindering him from fulfilling his parental responsibilities.
