KanyiDaily recalls that Portable and his associates were accused of attacking Ogun State officials who were carrying out a special operation at his bar.
After his associates were arraigned, claims surfaced that Portable went into hiding while his bar and other properties were shut down.
Reacting in a video shared on social media, Portable dismissed the allegations, stating that he never fought or assaulted anyone and was being falsely accused.
He further explained that the officials also targeted a training academy he runs, where he supports young people, including musicians, tailors, carpenters, and bricklayers.
The musician also claimed that his bar was destroyed, his properties seized, and his apprentices and customers were injured before being forced out.
Portable said, “It’s a youth matter, I’m a small boy. I didn’t fight anybody. I might be troublesome, but this time, I was asleep when they came to my house and bar, asking everyone to leave.”
“They went to an academy where I help young people—not just musicians but also tailors, carpenters, and bricklayers.”
“The elders, the owners of the earth, have lied against us. My glory will defeat my enemies. That house is where I buried my mother when I was 13.”
“They came and destroyed my bar, took my properties, injured my apprentices, and beat my customers before sending them home.”
“My fans, I swear to God, I didn’t fight anyone. Let them show proof that I did.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Ogun State Government had vowed to deal with Portable over his actions against officials from the State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
