In a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the man could be seen lying in a hospital bed, seemingly being attended to by a nurse after the tattoo was inked onto his body.
According to a friend who shared the incident online, the man had been talking non-stop about doing something memorable for Davido ever since the artist announced the “5ive” album.
“Ever since Davido announced his album, he kept saying he wanted to do something for him. Yesterday, I got a call saying he had gone to get a tattoo. Look at what he did to himself,” the friend explained.
The post has sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many users expressing concern and weighing in on the extreme lengths fans go to show their support for celebrities.
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido recently began the countdown to his much-anticipated fifth studio album, “5ive”, set to drop in 2025.
