“I’m Not Coming, I Did Nothing Wrong” – Speed Darlington Asks NAPTIP To Pay Him ₦2.5m [Video]

Controversial Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has fired back at the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) after the agency declared him wanted.

KanyiDaily recalls that a few days ago, NAPTIP declared Speed Darlington wanted for alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

This comes after the rapper failed to honour NAPTIP’s invitation after he confessed in a video shared on his Instagram page to have slept with a 15-year-old girl

In a new video posted on Monday, Speed Darlington denied any wrongdoing and vowed he won’t turn himself in for interrogation.

The rapper challenged NAPTIP to present evidence of the alleged crimes and threatened to sue the agency for defamation.

He accused the agency of trying to use his name for publicity, claiming that their goal was to appear active by targeting a public figure.

Darlington also mocked NAPTIP’s invitation, demanding N2.5 million and round-trip tickets for him and his assistant if they wanted him to appear, comparing it to a paid performance.

“NAPTIP pay attention, all this wanted you people posted everywhere, I want you to take that shit down. I’m not coming. Did you hear me? I’m not coming,” he said.

“I have not committed any crime, all I need was to speak. Irresponsible talk is not a crime. Where is your evidence? Who is your complainant? Una won use me collect social media clout. Hey look at us we are doing our job, we summon a celebrity and he came.

“I was born here too, I know the psychological mind game wey una won use my name play. I charge N2.5 million for appearance, una go pay me N2.5 million plus round trip tickets for me and my PA, because I call that appearance (the NAPTIP invite) because I know you guys have no evidence you have nothing. There’s no crime, all I did was trying to trend. So me coming there is a waste of my time.

“You are reacting because people were tagging you to go after me. And now you want to show Nigerians say you are a good agency. Go after me for talking? Which one is cyber stalking? Who did I stalk? Did I post anyone? Did I call any name in the video?

“I knack 15-year-old girl, na crime? Where is the evidence? Make una remove me from that list wey una put una self ooo. Honestly I go sue una for defamation of character, for spoiling my name because you have no evidence.”

Speed Darlington also took shots at women who allegedly reported him to NAPTIP, calling them “jealous” and claiming they were bitter because of his preference for younger women.

“All those women that are tagging you guys are a bunch of 30 and 20-something-year-olds who have not found a husband, so Speed Darlington does not have eyes for your age mates.

“They are hating on me because I’m popular and people listen to the things I say. So if I say I do not have eyes for 30s, 40s, and late 20s, boys should not go look their way,” he added.

As of the time of filing this report, NAPTIP has not responded to his latest outburst.

KanyiDaily recalls that Speed Darlington previously said that the NAPTIP has no legal grounds to declare him wanted.
