Tems, J Balvin And Doja Cat To Headline FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show

Global music stars, Doja Cat, Tems, and J Balvin are set to perform at the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final this summer.

FIFA and Global Citizen announced on Monday that the three artists will take the stage on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The performance will be part of the final match of the tournament and will be the first halftime show ever held during a FIFA competition.

The show, put together by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will help raise awareness and funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to expand access to education around the world.

Tems expressed her excitement in a statement saying: “We are going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment — to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I can’t wait — see you at the Club World Cup final!”

The FIFA Club World Cup kicks off on June 13 and will feature 32 club teams from around the globe, playing across 12 stadiums in 11 U.S. cities.

American teams like LAFC, Seattle Sounders, and Inter Miami CF will compete alongside European giants such as Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain.

South America’s River Plate will also be in the tournament.

Manchester City won the last Club World Cup held in Saudi Arabia in 2023.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the event’s significance saying, “For the first-ever halftime show in a FIFA competition, we’re proud to partner with Global Citizen to bring together a global superstar lineup.

“Together, we are going to make history on a special occasion where football and music unite the world … This show will be unforgettable — not just for its spectacle on a landmark night, but also for the lasting impact it will make.”

Chris Martin is also set to help organize the halftime show for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, which will also be held at MetLife Stadium on July 19, 2026, alongside Coldplay’s manager Phil Harvey.

KanyiDaily recalls that President Bola Tinubu recently congratulated Tems for winning the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
