In a video shared on social media, Osunde said the driver left his proper lane to bypass traffic and entered a lane used by vehicles heading towards Lekki.
The actress said she refused to move aside for the vehicle and instead blocked its path until officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) arrived.
She questioned why some motorists choose to break traffic rules whenever they encounter heavy traffic, stressing that driving against traffic only makes the situation on Nigerian roads worse.
Jemima Osunde insisted that she would not give way to a driver who was allegedly driving on a one-way route, even if the person had police officers in the vehicle.
“I will not leave my lane for you when you are passing one way. I won’t do it. I don’t care if you have police in your car,” she said.
The actress added that she was willing to remain in traffic or arrive late at her destination rather than allow a motorist to pass while allegedly violating traffic regulations.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian rapper Ice Prince recently revealed the identity of a Nollywood actress he admires, stirring reactions among fans who quickly pointed to Jemima Osunde.
