Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Chicken has landed in trouble after allegedly hitting someone and attempting to flee in Lakowe area of Lagos State.

In a video circulating on social media, DJ Chicken was seen being taken to a police station following his alleged involvement in a hit and run incident with his car.
An eyewitness said DJ Chicken was driving at a high speed when he hit a pedestrian and attempted to flee the scene. But he was chased down by angry residents who proceeded to smash his new car to pieces.
Onlookers were urged not to beat the DJ but simply hand him over to the authorities. The victim, whose car was badly damaged, reportedly sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
DJ Chicken has yet to release a statement regarding the incident, and it remains unclear whether he will face any charges as a result of the incident.
