Donovan Mitchell Announces Engagement To Coco Jones After Two Years Dating

American Basketball player, Donovan Mitchell has announced his engagement to R&B singer, Coco Jones after dating privately for the past two years.

The couple made the announcement on Friday, July 11, through posts shared on there respective Instagram pages.

The NBA star, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Grammy winner have mostly kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

But their representatives shared a joint message with PEOPLE magazine, saying “After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned it into a beautiful engagement.”

“The couple has been dating for two years and look forward to building a life together,” the statement added.

They shared a photo of themselves sharing a kiss, with Coco resting her han with a stunning engagement ring on Mitchell’s chest.

Mitchell also uploaded a video showing the actual proposal, which took place at a scenic resort near the water, surrounded by palm trees.

In the video, the couple walks alongside a pool before Mitchell gets down on one knee. Coco says yes, and the two embrace in a sweet moment.

Although fans had long suspected they were a couple, both Mitchell and Jones have been careful about keeping things low-key.
