Katsina Ward Councillor, Buhari Daudawa Abducted By Bandits

Bandits have kidnapped several people, including a local councillor, Buhari Daudawa, in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Security expert, Bakatsine shared the news on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, revealing that the attack took place on Monday night in Daudawa community.

According to him, the gunmen stormed the area and took away the councillor representing Daudawa Ward, along with several other residents.

Yesterday night, bandits invaded Daudawa in Faskari LGA, Katsina State. They abducted several people including the ward Councillor, Hon. Buhari Aliyu Daudawa during the invasion,” Bakatsine wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, it’s unclear how many people were taken during the incident.

KanyiDaily recalls that Kebbi State Government recently confirmed that 30 people were killed in bandit attacks on communities in the Zuru area.
