Korean Actress Lee Seo Yi Dies At 43

South Korean actress, Lee Seo-yi has passed away at the age of 43.

The actress’s manager, Song Seo Bin announced the sad news on Tuesday through a post shared on Lee’s official social media account.

The message read, “Hello, This is Song Seo Bin, manager of actress Lee Seo Yi.

“A radiant, beautiful, lovely, and kind unnie became a star in the sky on June 20, 2025, so I leave this message here.

“I know many of you must be shocked and deeply saddened by the news of her passing, but I kindly ask that you pray so that she may go to a good and beautiful place.

“If you wish to know where she is resting, please contact @songsong_seo.

“I am posting this on behalf of her mother and father.”

No details about the cause of death were given.

The announcement came as a surprise to many, especially since Lee had remained active online not long before her death.

Fans, fellow actors, and colleagues have been leaving touching tributes and messages of remembrance.

Lee Seo-yi, born in 1982, made her acting debut in the 2013 MBC period drama “Hur Jun, the Original Story”. She later appeared in shows like “Cheongdamdong Scandal” and films such as “The King” and “Killing Romance”.

Her final role was in the tvN drama “The Divorce Insurance”, which ended its broadcast in May.

KanyiDaily also reported how South Korean actor, Park Min-jae died at the age of 32 due to cardiac arrest during a trip to China on November 29.
