Speaking during a TikTok livestream with content creator Joblaq on Friday, Bella Shmurda explained that Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances, pushed him into a period of deep reflection and self-discovery.
“RIP Mohbad. After he passed away my brain reset, everything changed. The way I see things in life also changed.
“There’s a time that our parents use to tell us when we misbehave that, ‘You’re misbehaving, right? Don’t worry, very soon you will understand.’
“I’m currently in that phase where I’m starting to understand. I have understood certain things,” he said.
Bella, who worked with Mohbad on several hit street songs, added that he is now embracing life lessons he previously ignored, saying the tragedy has given him a clearer sense of direction.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, warned Bella Shmurda to stop sleeping with Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi.
