Nigerian Woman Arrested In Pakistan For Allegedly Selling Cocaine To Students

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in Pakistan has uncovered a drug trafficking ring supplying cocaine to students in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, arresting a Nigerian woman believed to be a key suspect.

The suspect, identified as Wasilat Amusa, also known as Alaba, was was allegedly caught red-handed selling drugs and arrested during a sting operation at an apartment in Sector H-13, Abuja.

“During the raid, 180 grams of cocaine was recovered from her residence,” the ANF spokesman stated, adding that her Nigerian passport, issued in Lagos, was also seized as evidence.

Investigators revealed that Amusa had been distributing narcotics to students in nearby schools and universities.

ANF said the arrest is part of a wider crackdown on international drug syndicates, with officials noting that several Nigerian traffickers have previously been caught in Pakistan.

“It is part of a broader crackdown, as the Force has previously apprehended several Nigerian drug dealers operating in Pakistan,” the spokesman added.

A formal case has been filed against her, and security agencies say efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the cartel.

KanyiDaily recalls that an American woman recently called out a young Nigerian man she claims to be her husband, accusing him and his family of orchestrating a romance scam against her.
