North West appeared in several TikTok videos on the joint account she shares with her mother, @kimandnorth, wearing fake face tattoos, a small star beneath her right eye, and her name written in cursive on her left cheek.
The 12-year-old completed the look with long blue braided hair, a faux septum ring, colored contacts, a black grill, and layers of silver chains.
North paired the accessories with a loose black T-shirt, baggy shorts, chunky sneakers, and captioned one of the videos, “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.”
She and a group of friends were also seen posing on a private jet and later backstage at a concert.
While comments were disabled on TikTok, the videos reposted on Instagram sparked criticism from followers, with many saying the look was too mature for a 12-year-old.
Some questioned Kim’s parenting, while others joked, “What in the Kanye West is happening?”
The backlash came not long after Kim publicly defended North’s right to express her personal style, saying she wanted her daughter to explore her creativity freely.
However, in a recent interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the reality star admitted that parenting isn’t easy and that she sometimes questions how much freedom she gives North.
KanyiDaily recalls that Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she’s not a fan of homework, explaining why she feels kids should focus on life outside school once classes end.
