Lucky Udu recently went online to seek help, revealing that he has been struggling to stay afloat despite previously helping others gain fame.
In a video he shared, the influencer explained that a viral joke about him — “If Lucky Udu posts you, your career is over” — had damaged his reputation and cost him several opportunities, including a brand endorsement deal.
He also disclosed that he had been relying on loans to keep his brand running but could no longer cope with the pressure.
Following his post, several Nigerians expressed sympathy, including Cubana Chief Priest, who responded humorously to the situation.
The celebrity barman recalled how Lucky Udu once supported his alleged baby mama during his beef with Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, even though he didn’t have the full story at the time.
Despite their past disagreement, Cubana Chief Priest said he had no hard feelings and decided to help with Lucky Udu with N1 million.
“Go that place wey you carry person go Oo collect 30k dollar nah & this year shaaa I go send you small thing make you use take see front. Billing Na Water,’ Cubana Chief Priest.
KanyiDaily recalls that Cubana Chief Priest’s alleged baby mama, Hellen Ati had accused Lucky Udu and Burna Boy’s PA, Abu Salami, of coercing her to falsely claim Burna Boy gave her money and of seeking sexual favors from her.
